Smooth curves follows each stroke instead of cutting it into flat facets, while diamond dots and nib tips stay sharp.

Dots and islands held in place
Dots, diacritics and the insides of letters are detected as floating pieces and given tabs, so nothing falls out of a cut panel.
V-carving that follows the pen
The V-bit runs down the middle of each stroke and sinks deeper where it widens, giving crisp bevelled lettering in one pass.
True curves in SVG
SVG exports carry Bézier curves, so the file opens in Illustrator, Inkscape or VCarve as a few editable curves per letter.
Questions
Can I use calligraphy I downloaded from the internet?
Only designs you have the right to use. Tracing your own work, commissioned work or designs licensed for cutting is what this is for.
Will small dots and diacritics survive?
Yes. Floating pieces are detected and held with tabs; despeckle removes only specks smaller than the size you set, so real dots are kept.
Should I cut it out or V-carve it?
Cut it out for wall art and mashrabiya-style panels; V-carve it for signs and plaques where the lettering is carved into the board.
