Choose automatic or manual thresholding, or pick the ink colour for photos. Clear specks and turn on smooth curves for flowing line work.

Every shape is a closed polyline, so your CAM software can offset and pocket it without repairing gaps first.
Layers for cut and engrave
Outer profiles, holes and small engraved details are sorted onto CUT_OUTER, CUT_INNER and ENGRAVE layers automatically.
Tabs for floating pieces
Pieces that would fall out mid-cut — the centre of an O, the dot of an i — are found and given holding tabs.
Real size, real units
Set the stock width and height and the drawing is scaled to fit, in millimetres, with the origin at the bottom-left.
Questions
Which image formats can I convert to DXF?
PNG, JPEG and WebP, up to 12 MB. High-contrast line art converts best, but photos work too: pick the ink colour and the tracer separates it by colour instead of brightness.
Will the DXF open in my CAM software?
Yes. It is an R12-compatible DXF using closed LWPOLYLINE entities on named layers, which VCarve, Aspire, Fusion 360, LightBurn, AutoCAD and Inkscape all read.

Can I also get G-code or SVG?
Yes. The same trace exports as SVG for laser software and as G-code for routers and lasers, with your own bit, feeds and depths.
