Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
1. The service
Magic Carve converts raster images into vector geometry and machine toolpaths (DXF, SVG and G-code). It is provided as a hosted web application by Advanced Management Solutions (“AMS”, “we”, “us”).
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for everything done under your credentials. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard; deletion is permanent.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the artwork you upload and to the vectors and toolpaths generated from it. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store and process that material in order to provide the service. You confirm you hold the rights to any artwork you upload.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Magic Carve to infringe someone else's intellectual property, to produce anything unlawful, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions through Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's payment element and are never seen or stored by our servers. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
6. Machine safety and no warranty
Generated G-code is a starting point, not a guarantee. You are responsible for verifying every toolpath, feed, speed and depth against your own machine, material and workholding before you run it, and for operating that machine safely. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for damaged material, tooling or workpieces, or for lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Privacy — what we collect
We collect your name and email address, your authentication provider identifiers, your uploaded artwork and the projects and toolpaths you generate, and the billing identifiers Stripe returns to us. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your artwork to train models.
9. Privacy — how we use and share it
Your data is used to operate the service, to bill you, and to provide support. It is shared only with the processors needed to do that: our hosting provider, Stripe for payments, and our mail server for transactional email. Data is held in the European Union.
10. Privacy — your rights
You may access, correct, export or erase your personal data. Deleting your account from the dashboard erases your projects and exports immediately. Write to us at the contact address for anything else.
11. Cookies
We set a session cookie to keep you signed in. Your theme and language choices are stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to us. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the application before they take effect, and the “last updated” date above will change.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction. Contact Advanced Management Solutions at the address published on the About page.
